& CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Have you graduated from college? Are you looking for the Right Choice to help you make the most of your education and share it with others?
Region 12 Teacher Preparation and Certification Program is the Right Choice to help you enter the fulfilling field of education. The program is highly respected by local school districts and offers certification in many subject areas.
The Education Service Center Region 12 Teacher Preparation and Certification Program (TPCP) is now accepting participant applications for the 2009 winter cycle of its alternative teacher certification program. You could be in the classroom as a paid first year teacher by the fall of 2009.
Through the Region 12 Teacher Preparation and Certification Program (TPCP), individuals who have a bachelor's degree from a four-year institution may obtain a Texas teaching certification even though they do not have a degree in education. In addition, individuals who have a degree in education, but do not have teaching certification in Texas may obtain their valid Texas certification through this program.
Classes begin on January 12, 2009. Participants will attend classes three times a week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
